Social Responsibility

Aditya Pharmacy pursues its corporate social responsibility programs, as a way of giving back to the people for their loyal support through the years. Our social responsibility stretches beyond pharmaceutical retailing and has a powerful sense of empathy inspired by our commitment to make a meaningful difference in the communities where we operate. In our own way, we hope to build a healthy, educated and productive India by undertaking social responsibility programs focused and health and education.

COMMUNITY CHARITY

Aditya Pharmacy’s commitment to helping people on their path to better health could be seen across our community outreach efforts in past several years. In total, We have contributed more than Rs.20 Lakhs in donations, volunteer hours, and gifts-inkind to support charitable causes that impact the lives of the people we serve every day.

Once a year, Aditya Pharmacy organizes a CHARITY DAY which provides opportunities for our employees and executives to engage in charity activities with their children and have meaningful family time together. Nearly 50 employees, executives, and their family members participate each year in helping the needy through diverse partner organizations. Aditya Pharmacy will continue to encourage company employees, executives and their families in different regions to participate in charity work and share their talents to build and energize local communities.

Actively raising awareness of the need to visit local public blood donation banks and donating to the blood stocks.
Support for Local Poor Children. Volunteers take underprivileged children to theaters, themeparks, exhibitions, etc. and help them engage in entertaining and cultural activities.
Volunteers regularly participate in projects for restoring, maintaining and renovating local cultural properties.
Volunteers participate in visual and physical impairment programs to get hands-on experience with these disabilities.

Talent Donation

AN FOUNDATION

We founded Aditya Narasimha Foundation to help our communities in need through volunteer programs involving employees. The Foundation helps underprivileged groups around the company’s store sites in Hyderabad and Vijayawada with their meals, medical expenses, living expenses, and tuition fees.

HEALTH CAMP

As part of the corporate social responsibility and in continuation of our human endeavor and to bring about health awareness to the people in our community, Aditya Pharmacy organizes FREE health Check-up camps once a month in Hyderabad, Vijaywada and smaller towns in Andhra Pradesh where people do not have easy access to healthcare. On average, more than 200 visitors attended the Free Health Camps every month.

A special team of Doctors, Nurses and volunteers conduct free consultations and checkups in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Urology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology. In addition, free Blood Pressure Checkup, Blood Sugar Checkup, and BMI Checkup are carried out on the visitors to create awareness about diabetes and hypertension which is one of the most worrisome health issue prevalent in India. As part of the Aditya Pharmacy promotion free medicines, brochures, health pamphlets are distributed to all the patients and visitors.

Our Health camps are generally well received and appreciated both by the public and the local supporters of the event.
